Child Marriage Annulment means the legally cancellation of Child Marriage which is solemnized by the community years ago. This is a curative approach in which we are taking out the children from the handcuffs of child marriage. We are giving the victims a “New Hope” and “ New Life” who were facing the negative consequences of child marriage with the thought that, ‘Now nothing can be change. We have to live in this exploitation.’ We are giving a “Ray of Hope” by Child Marriage Annulment to step out from the Black room of Child Marriage. For us, this is a way to correct the mistakes committed by the community in the name of Child Marriage. Saarthi has facilitated Child Marriage Victims and their families with the community to annul their child marriages legally which was first time in India. By Saarthi 30 victims have been precede on the way of Annulment and Rehabilitation and 9 victim cases are in under process for Annulment.
